World's tallest building
It's about time I updated you all about my adventures! I made it Ireland, I've been here over a week now, but with a little detour! My flight from Melbourne to Dubai (over 14 hours guys! yikes) was delayed so that I actually missed my connecting flight to Dublin. But don't worry, they put me on the same flight twenty four hours later and paid for the hotel. So on the plus side I got to spend a day in Dubai, I just went on a tour that left from the hotel but I got to see the major sites. From what I saw and what you can all see in the photos it's quite a diverse city. There's a mix of brand new skyscrapers and mega hotels with older, more humble things that aren't quite so sparkly. The weather was quite lovely as it was winter there. Not sure I can say the same for (not so) sunny Ireland but more about that later.
It sucks that your flight was delayed but it's a huge plus that you got a day to explore Dubai! It looks like quite a nice city. Looking forward to hearing about Ireland!
ReplyDeleteI love the warm hues in these travel photos. Our snowy Canadian winter world is so pallid these days and it's good to be reminded to of the vibrancy that still exists in places closer to the equator. :)

Dubai looks amazing! The delayed flight is lame, but it's nice they paid for your hotel. Have a good time in Ireland!
