I find this a difficult braid as some of the angles are a little awkward, but it gives a pleasing result! However I can't quite do it on myself so I had to find a friend (and it's still a little messy!), but isn't she just gorgeous? Much more photogenic than yours truly!
Instructions I vaguely followed.
The braid is so lovely on her. :) It's good to finally see that style on someone without bangs. I was scared it would look silly if I didn't have blunt bangs!

I lovde these braids! How the heck do people do it on themselves? It's not natural. But it's amazing. Maybe I'll ask a friend to do my hair like that today...

ooh nice, i just got my hair cut recently, otherwise i could try this. although i kind of have, and it's bloody difficult!
ReplyDeletemine is ludicrously thick and grows really slow. all last year i was trying to grow it out, only to realise it doesn't really suit me at all! so now it's short, and the perfect length for my new hat, which yes is still at dotti. well here in perth anyway, and the shop i got it from got new stock so i imagine they're appreciating the demand.
good luck finding one! sportsgirl has some too, but i like the shape of this one much better. also, just think of the possibilities when you change the ribbon!
no it doesn't get particularly cold in perth. we get up EARLY mornings lately to get to our sellout city jobs so then, yes, it's a bit chilly, but it NEVER lasts, so by hometime i'm always carrying my cardigan/coat/scarf whilst strolling in the sunshine.
we're stupid lucky over here, really...
Pretty! I always wish that my hair would grow long so I could braid it like that, but it never does...it just grows BIG! haha! So what do I do, but chop it all off! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try that!
